CHRISTMAS REINDEER CHEX MIX RECIPE

It's the holiday season, and this Christmas Reindeer Chex Mix Recipe is a huge hit this time of year! If you're headed to a holiday party and you want to bring a festive treat that's made with minimal ingredients, make this reindeer chow Chex mix!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (see above for substitutions)
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar confectioner's sugar

Instructions
 

  • Melt peanut butter in large mixing bowl (make sure to use a microwave-safe bowl) for about 30 seconds in microwave
  • Add salt to peanut butter and stir to combine
  • Add Rice and Corn Chex cereal to peanut butter mixture and stir until coated
  • Add two cups powdered sugar, place lid on large bowl or transfer the cereal mixture to large gallon ziplock bag and shake until coated
  • Storing in a mason jar, ziploc bags, or air-tight container will give these reindeer chow muddy buddies a longer shelf life. If you store them in the fridge they will last about 1-2 weeks

  • Fill mason jars or cellophane bags with reindeer snack mix and and tie a ribbon and gift tag around it and give as a gift at Christmas time! It is the perfect treat for the Christmas season.
