Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup gluten free flour I use Cup4Cup
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt I use Fage 0%
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white + 1 tablespoon water for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Then stir in the yogurt. Stir with a spoon until ingredients are incorporated and you have a shaggy dough
  • Then, using your hands, knead the ingredients until a dough forms and roll into a ball (you may need a dusting of flour to keep the dough from sticking to your hands)
  • Turn the bagel dough ball out onto a piece of parchment paper and cut into 4 equal pieces
  • Roll each piece into a rope shape about 1 inch thick
  • Connect the ends of the rope to for a bagel shape
  • In a small bowl or ramekin, whisk together 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon water. Using a pastry brush, brush the top of the dough with egg whites water mixture, aka egg wash) and sprinkle with your favorite topping (like everything bagel seasoning)
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-22 minutes until the tops and bottoms are golden brown
  • Allow these chewy gluten-free bagels to cool before slicing them and smearing with a thick layer of cream cheese or butter and jelly or peanut butter or gluten free white country gravy (the possibilities are endless)
