Copycat KFC Coleslaw

This Coleslaw tastes like KFC, but better!

  • 14 ounce bag of coleslaw mix or 4 cups shredded cabbage and 1 large carrot, shredded
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ cup buttermilk whole, not low-fat
  • ¼ cup organic granulated cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons creamy horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or juice from half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


  • Add mayo, buttermilk, sugar, vinegar, horseradish, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl, and stir to combine
  • Add slaw mix or shredded cabbage and carrot, and stir to combine
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving
  • Stir before serving


Store leftovers in fridge for up to 3 days in airtight container
