Rinse head of lettuce with cold water, cut in half, and then cut each half in half. Place each wedge on a rimmed plate.
Make hardboiled eggs: add eggs to a saucepan and cover with water. Place on stove and turn heat to high, once the water begins to boil, turn off the heat, put lid on pan, and set timer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, add cooked eggs to a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes. Then peel and cut into pieces and pour over top of lettuce wedge.
Cut 4 slices of cooked bacon into small bits, or use store-bought bacon bits, and pour over lettuce wedge.
