Easy Gluten Free Sushi Rice

Making sushi at home just got easier with this Easy Gluten Free Sushi Rice recipe. With just a few ingredients, you’ll have perfect sticky rice for homemade sushi!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked short grain white rice
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar see notes

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice according to package directions
  • While the rice is cooking, make the sushi vinegar by adding rice vinegar, sugar, and salt to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium high heat and whisk until sugar has dissolved
  • Once rice is fully cooked, add to a large bowl and pour the sushi vinegar over it
  • Cover and allow to cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes)
  • Use to make homemade sushi or sushi bowls (see video for how to make sushi without any special equipment)
