Equipment

  • Pitcher

Ingredients

  • 1 large navel orange cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple cored and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 4 cups grape juice
  • 1 to 2 cups sparkling red grape juice as needed to fill the pitcher

Instructions

  • Add the orange and apple pieces to the bottom of a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the pomegranate juice and grape juice.
  • Fill the remainder of the pitcher with sparkling red grape juice, using approximately 1 to 2 cups.
  • Stir gently. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Serve chilled in fancy glasses over regular or themed ice. Add some of the soaked fruit to each glass and enjoy.

Notes

  • For maximum fizz, add the sparkling red grape juice shortly before serving.
  • The exact amount of sparkling juice needed will depend on the capacity of your pitcher.
  • Freeze juice in the ice molds to prevent the drink from becoming diluted.
  • Refrigerate leftovers for up to two days.
