Momma’s Gluten Free Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
- 6 Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1 package gluten free yellow cake mix (King Arthur and Pamela’s are my favorite)
- 1 stick salted butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Grease 9×13 baking dish
- Peel and slice apples thin and line bottom of baking dish
- Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle evenly over apples
- Sprinkle oats evenly over apples, cinnamon, and sugar
- Top with one package gluten free yellow cake mix
- Melt one stick butter
- Poke fingers in cake mix and pour butter over the top
- Bake until golden brown (approximately 30-45 minutes)
- Let cool for 10 minutes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
