These Ground Chicken Shawarma Tacos are everything you love about traditional chicken shawarma but made easier with seasoned ground chicken and served in soft gluten free Siete Almond Flour Tortillas. They're loaded with crunchy coleslaw mix, juicy pico de gallo (or chopped tomatoes), creamy tzatziki sauce, and salty feta cheese for a quick dinner that's bursting with Mediterranean flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken

Seasoning Mix

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Tacos

  • 6 Siete Almond Flour Tortillas
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • cups pico de gallo or chopped tomatoes
  • ¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ¾ –1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • Fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the ground chicken until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Add all of the seasonings and cook another 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in the lemon juice.
  • Warm the tortillas.
  • Fill each tortilla with chicken.
  • Top with coleslaw mix, pico or tomatoes, feta, tzatziki, and parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
