Pizza Planet Gluten Free Cheeseburger Pizza | Inspired by Disney's Toy Story
Make a Toy Story inspired Pizza Planet gluten free cheeseburger pizza with seasoned ground beef, onions, pizza sauce, mozzarella, and cheddar.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup frozen diced onions or freshly diced onion
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt or to taste
- 1 large gluten free pizza crust or 2 personal size crusts
- ¾ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the directions for your chosen gluten free pizza crust.
- Add the ground beef, onions, and seasoned salt to a large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the beef, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks. Continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are tender.
- Drain the excess grease from the skillet.
- Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza pan.
- Spread the pizza sauce or marinara evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar over the sauce.
- Add the ground beef and onion mixture.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar.
- Bake according to the pizza crust package directions, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- To grill the pizza, cook it over low heat for 5–10 minutes, watching it carefully, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Leave out the onions if your kids don’t like them.
- Cooking times will vary depending on the size and brand of pizza crust.
- Check all packaged ingredients to ensure they are gluten free.
- Add pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce after cooking.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
