Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup frozen diced onions or freshly diced onion
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
- 1 large gluten free pizza crust or 2 personal size crusts
- ¾ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Gluten Free Cheeseburger Pizza
Prepare the Ground Beef
Add the ground beef, diced onions, and seasoned salt to a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook until the ground beef is completely browned, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
You can leave out the onions if your kids don’t like them, but they make the pizza taste extra yummy and give it even more classic cheeseburger flavor!
Assemble the Pizza
Preheat your oven according to the pizza crust package directions.
Place the gluten free crust on a baking sheet or pizza pan. Spread the pizza sauce or marinara evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edge.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar over the sauce. Add the cooked ground beef and onions, then top with the remaining cheese.
Bake the Pizza
Bake the pizza according to the crust package directions. It is ready when the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing.
How to Cook It on the Grill
Preheat the grill to low heat. Place the assembled pizza on a grill safe pizza pan or directly on the grill if your crust’s package directions permit.
Close the grill and cook for 5–10 minutes, checking frequently. Remove the pizza when the crust is golden and crisp and the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
Grill temperatures vary, so keep a close eye on the bottom of the crust to prevent it from burning.
Cheeseburger Pizza Topping Ideas
Customize your Pizza Planet pizza with your family’s favorite burger toppings:
- Chopped gluten free pickles
- Crumbled bacon
- Sliced tomatoes
- Gluten free burger sauce
- Ketchup and mustard
- Extra cheddar cheese
- Sliced jalapeños
- Crushed red pepper
Add cold toppings such as pickles, tomatoes, and burger sauce after baking.
Tips for the Best Gluten Free Pizza
Follow the crust directions. Some gluten free crusts need to be prebaked before adding the toppings.
Drain the ground beef. Removing excess grease helps prevent a soggy pizza crust.
Use freshly shredded cheese. It usually melts more smoothly than packaged shredded cheese.
Check your labels. Make sure the seasoned salt, pizza sauce, and all packaged toppings are gluten free.
Avoid too many toppings. An overloaded gluten free crust may not become crisp in the center.

Make It Dairy Free
To make a dairy free cheeseburger pizza, replace the mozzarella and cheddar with your favorite dairy free cheese shreds. Also verify that your pizza crust and sauce are both dairy free.
What to Serve with Pizza Planet Cheeseburger Pizza
Make this pizza the star of a complete Toy Story marathon movie night. Serve it with a simple salad, fresh fruit, popcorn, colorful vegetables, or a fun space themed dessert.

How to Store Leftovers
Refrigerate leftover pizza in an airtight container for up to three days.
For the crispiest crust, reheat the pizza in an air fryer, toaster oven, regular oven, or skillet. You can use the microwave when you’re short on time, but the crust will be softer.

It is gluten free when prepared with a gluten free pizza crust and verified gluten free toppings. Always check the labels on the seasoned salt, sauce, cheese, and any additional toppings.
