    Chocolate Hummus (gluten free, vegan)

    dessert hummus recipe

If you’re looking for a healthy dessert made without refined sugar that you can feed yourself and your kids without guilt, then keep reading! This Chocolate Hummus recipe is gluten free, vegan, and tastes like you’re eating chocolate icing!

Most store-bought chocolate hummus contains sugar. One brand puts that it’s sweetened with dates right on the front of the container, but when you look at the ingredients, sugar is listed as well. So if you’re wanting a healthy dessert and choose a store-bought chocolate hummus, chances are you are still consuming refined sugar. This doesn’t work for me, so I took matters into my own hands and created a chocolate hummus recipe that is gluten free, vegan, and made without refined sugar!

As with all of my recipes, I tested this Gluten Free Chocolate Hummus on my hubby and incredibly picky children. They said it tastes just like chocolate icing and they would love to smear it all over a cupcake!
