Quick and easy meals with little cleanup have become a trend in my house lately. When you work long hours, the last thing you want to do is go home and spend the rest of your evening in your kitchen cooking and cleaning. But your family needs to eat, so that’s why I’ve created this delicious Chicken Caesar Pitas recipe. It’s ready in less than 20 minutes, tastes great, and you’ll only use a few dishes!
This Chicken Caesar Pitas recipe can be made gluten free, low carb, and dairy free by swapping out a couple of ingredients. You can even make it egg free if you use vegan mayo! To make it gluten free, just use a gluten free pita; the rest of the ingredients are already gluten free. To make it low carb, use a low carb pita. And if you need a dairy free option, use dairy free parmesan cheese and make sure your pita is dairy free as well. Sometimes it just takes a few simple swaps in order to make a meal fit your dietary needs. Here’s a great recipe for a keto pita that also happens to gluten and dairy free BFree makes the best gluten free pita out there! It’s also dairy free, only has 21g net carbs, and it’s made with good ingredients. You can find them at both Costco and Walmart for convenience!
Y’all should know by now how much I love shortcuts in my kitchen, and for this recipe, shortcuts help you make it in 20 minutes or less! Use pre-cooked chicken breasts or a rotisserie chicken, a bag of chopped romaine lettuce, and a store-bought caesar dressing to make this meal quickly with little cleanup! My favorite bottled caesar dressing is Marzetti Simple Dressing Caesar Dressing.
