Greek Pasta Salad {gluten free, healthy}
There’s a special place in my heart for Mediterranean food. It’s fresh, it’s full of flavor, and there are lots of gluten free options! I have recipes for Chicken Shawarma and Tzatziki Sauce which pair perfectly with this Greek Pasta Salad, so make sure to check those out!
I make a homemade Greek dressing for this pasta salad, but you could easily skip those steps and use a store-bought Greek dressing if you have one you love. Either way you go here, this is a side dish you’ll want to make over and over again because it’s so delicious!
If you need help choosing a gluten free pasta for this recipe, check out my Gluten Free Pasta Guide! For this recipe, I used Explore Cuisine Green Lentil Penne and it was out of this world delicious! If you use a high protein pasta, this side dish becomes a meal in itself! It can also become a full meal if you add some cooked diced chicken to it!
Optional add-ins:
- Grilled diced chicken
- Chopped kale
- Chopped onions (red onion is delicious in a Greek salad)
- Diced bell peppers
