Easy Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey 93% lean or higher
- 1 pound sour cream and chive mashed potatoes store bought works great
- 2 cans french green beans
- 2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- spray oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with oil and set aside
- Heat a large skillet to medium high heat and spray with oil
- Add ground turkey to skillet and cook until cooked through
- Add worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and stir to combine, remove from heat
- Open cans of green beans and drain
- Put green beans in greased baking dish
- Spread cooked ground turkey mixture on top of green beans
- Add layer of mashed potatoes to top and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees
- After 15 minutes, turn oven to broil and cook until potatoes begin to brown around the edges (about 3-5 minutes)
- Let cool for 2 minutes before serving so it doesn't fall apart and enjoy!
Notes
Notes: Used mashed cauliflower in place of potatoes for a low carb option!
