    Easy Shepherd's Pie {gluten free, healthy}

    Easy Shepherd's Pie

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 pound lean ground turkey 93% lean or higher
    • 1 pound sour cream and chive mashed potatoes store bought works great
    • 2 cans french green beans
    • 2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • spray oil

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    • Spray 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with oil and set aside
    • Heat a large skillet to medium high heat and spray with oil
    • Add ground turkey to skillet and cook until cooked through
    • Add worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and stir to combine, remove from heat
    • Open cans of green beans and drain
    • Put green beans in greased baking dish
    • Spread cooked ground turkey mixture on top of green beans
    • Add layer of mashed potatoes to top and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees
    • After 15 minutes, turn oven to broil and cook until potatoes begin to brown around the edges (about 3-5 minutes)
    • Let cool for 2 minutes before serving so it doesn't fall apart and enjoy!

    Notes

    Notes: Used mashed cauliflower in place of potatoes for a low carb option!
